Martial You is an economic journalist. For more than twenty-five years, he has been analysing and explaining economic news for several major French media outlets, including RTL, M6, Europe 1, Les Échos and BFM Business. He is the author of several books, including What If the Health Crisis Was an Opportunity? (L’Archipel) and The 1970s Are Back (Fayard). In 2026, he published The Turkeys – How the Middle Classes Are Being Robbed, an essay examining forty-five years of economic and social change in France and questioning the gradual decline of the middle classes.
